Introducing: Artists Institute
Huge news: we’re expanding our programs in 2013.
We’re thrilled to announce that this year we will open Artists Institute , the first free college of art and technology in the country’s history. In collaboration with Ciné Institute, Artists for Haiti, and We Are the World Foundation, we’ve been busy planning the school’s construction and developing the programming. We hope that by training talented Haitian youth in vital creative industries such as film, audio engineering and design, the Institute will foster business development and facilitate entrepreneurship.
Stay tuned for more updates and news about the Institute. We’re excited to be offering opportunities to the next generation of Haiti’s leaders — and we want you to be a part of it!

On February 21, Hollywood Domino & Bovet 1822 held a gala benefitting Artists for
Peace and Justice at the Sunset Tower Hotel. The evening was hosted by three of our
incredible APJ board members: Gerard Butler and Madeline Stowe.
Mr. Pascal Raffy of Bovet 1822 presented the event while attendees such as
Carter Lay, Adrian Brody, Ali Larter, David Arquette, Emmanuelle Chriqui, Kristin
Davis, Moby, Peter Facinelli, Topher Grace, Heather Graham, Karolina Kurkova,
Rose McGowan, Josh Hartnett, Jessica Szohr mingled on the red carpet,
participated in the domino tournament, and were educated on Haitian poverty.
Later in the night, Jackson Browne treated the crowd to a moving and heartfelt
musical performance.
By the end of the evening, over $500,000 was raised for Haiti! Thank you to all
of our friends, supporters and sponsors who made the event such a tremendous
success. Looking forward to next year already!
